To us, pets are family.
That’s why at Thea we go beyond treatment
to offer care that comforts, heals, and connects
for both animals and their humans.
Located in Rabin Square, in central Tel Aviv, our clinic was founded in 2006 as Veterinar BaKikar.
In 2022, Dr. Joshua Karako, better known to our clients as Dr. Shuky, took over the clinic as a franchisee and began a new chapter.
In the early days, Dr. Shuky was helped by his father, whose support, encouragement, and presence became a special part of the clinic’s story.
Many of our clients have watched the clinic grow and evolve over the years, becoming the practice they know and trust today.
In February 2026, Dr. Shuky acquired the clinic and reintroduced it as Thea Veterinary Clinic.
Today, we are proud to have a dedicated team of veterinarians and veterinary assistants, while
maintaining the warm, personal approach that has always been at the heart of what we do.

Now known as Thea Veterinary Clinic, we are a modern veterinary clinic in Tel Aviv with a
dedicated team of veterinarians and assistants, combining professional medicine with a warm, personal approach.
The name Thea was chosen first and foremost in honor of my beloved dog, Thea—a soul who teaches me the true meaning of care, devotion, and unconditional love every day. She is the inspiration behind the creation of this clinic and continues to shape the values that guide it.
The name is also inspired by the ancient Greek Titaness of light and vision. In mythology, Thea bestowed brilliance upon everything she touched and was the mother of the Sun, the Moon, and the Dawn symbols of radiance, guidance, and renewal.
In that same spirit, Thea Veterinary Clinic was founded to bring light, compassion, and clarity to every stage of your pet’s well-being. We believe in a gentle, knowledgeable, and transparent approach where every animal is treated with respect, and every family receives sincere, attentive care.
